Little Pine State Park, Waterville, PA

Welcome to the Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest
The event will be held in mid-October, right at the peak of fall foliage. Both courses will use the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. To reward runners after Torbert, we'll be sending you down one of the nicest downhill runs to the finish on Panther Run. Just a reminder that these are not beginner courses. Please train accordingly as the 25K has over 5000 feet of vertical and the 50K has about 8000. Cut-offs are in place to ensure a daylight finish.

50K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 3.5 by 7:45 am. Mile 14 by 11:30 am. Mile 20.5 by 1:30pm. Mile 24.5 by 2:30 pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight. 25K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 5.5 by 11:30am, Mile 11 by 2:30pm. And mile 13 by 3:30pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight. Expect this 50K to be one of the toughest races out there.

Registration opens December 16th at 7pm EST. The race is limited to 400 total runners between the two distances. The fee for the event is $75 for the 25K and $85 for the 50K. These are NOT entry level courses. Be prepared to take on some of the toughest trails in PA with over 5,000 feet of vertical for the 25K and 8,000 feet for the 50K. Torbert Trail awaits all runners with 4 miles left to the Finish!!!!

The difficulty of the Call of the Wilds 25k is unmatched in Pennsylvania and it’s, in my opinion, the most beautiful part of PA!
